Orlong

That, or more rarely the Orlong , was a rear Indian area and arable measure. This measure also applied on Prince of Wales Island .

The basis was a square with an edge length of 1 orlong. The measure was divided into 160 hastas = 80 yards (engl.). The hasta was the yardstick , about ½ yard.
