The Orquesta Los Tupamaros is a Colombian band that plays Salsa , Musica Tropical, Merengue, Cumbia and Vallenato and is based in Bogotá .

Career

The group was founded in 1975 as a dance band by Fernando Jaramillo. Originally intended as an amateur group, over the years it has increasingly achieved musical professionalism. The group has now published 18 music productions. The Orquesta Los Tupamaros won five Congos de Oro at the Barranquilla Carnival , and performs frequently at the Feria de Cali and Feria de Manizales . Orquesta Los Tupamaros became internationally known through tours in the USA and Europe , countries such as Spain , Great Britain and Germany . Her hits include songs like “El Baile de la Quebradita”, “Te Necesito”, “Piraña”, “La Chica Gomela”, “Cachete, Pechito y Umbligo”, “Quiero un Hombre”, “Todo el Mundo Necesita un Beso” "And" Me Muero de las Ganas ". The Orquesta Estrella group. consists of former members of the Orquesta Los Tupamaros.
