Oru (German: Orrenhof ) is a former rural community in the Estonian district of Lääne with an area of 197.8 km². Since 2013 it has belonged to the rural municipality of Lääne-Nigula . It had 932 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2008).
Oru was on Haapsalu Bay . In addition to the administrative center of Linnamäe (150 inhabitants), the rural community also included the villages of Auaste , Ingküla , Jalukse , Keedika , Krebsla , Niibi , Oru , Mõisaküla , Salajõe , Saunja , Seljaküla , Soolu , Uugla and Vedra .
