Osama Malik (born September 30, 1990 in Adelaide ) is an Australian football player .
Career
Malik, son of a Sudanese and an Australian, made his adult debut in 2008 for the Adelaide Raiders . For the 2008/09 season he was signed by Adelaide United for the newly created National Youth League ; to his only two competitive appearances for the professional team this season he came at the FIFA Club World Cup in 2008 , when he was substituted on against Gamba Osaka and al Ahly Cairo .
During the break of the season, he played some games for Adelaide Galaxy in the South Australian Super League , the top division of the state of South Australia . For the 2009-10 season, he signed a contract with the A-League - expansion team North Queensland Fury after a contract extension at Adelaide United was uncertain.
In early 2011, he returned to Adelaide United.
