Ty Anderson
Osborne "Ty" Anderson (born October 15, 1908 in Fredrikstad , Norway as Asbjørn Andersen , † January 31, 1989 in Swampscott , Massachusetts ) was an American ice hockey player .
Career
Born in Norway, Ty Anderson played for the Boston Olympics and Atlantic City Seagulls of the Eastern Amateur Hockey League for over a decade . Following his active career, he became a high school ice hockey coach.
International
For the USA Anderson took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , where he won the silver medal with his team. At the 1931 World Cup he also won the silver medal with the USA.
