Oscar Bluhm

Oscar Bluhm (* 1867 in Meißen , † 1912 in Leipzig ) was a German painter and illustrator. His early works showed war themes, later Bluhm devoted himself to portrait and genre painting . His pictures show portraits and elegant scenes from the life and leisure of the upper class. From 1892 he worked as an illustrator for the magazine Fliegende Blätter and Meggendorfer-Blätter . He illustrated the novel "The Prodigal Son" by Nataly von Eschstruth .
