Oscar Zia
Oscar Zia (born October 10, 1996 in Svedala ) is a Swedish singer .
Career
Zia, who has Italian roots, became famous for his participation in the Swedish X Factor 2012. He got into the live shows and was eliminated from the competition in eighth place.
After participating in X Factor , Zia took part as a background singer for Behrang Miri at the 2013 Melodifestival . There they were eliminated in the semifinals. Zia then competed in the Swedish version of Let's Dance and took second place there.
In May 2013 the artist released his debut single #fail , which missed the Swedish single charts. Even Without U , Zia's second single, also missed the singles charts.
In February 2014 he took part in the Melodifestivalen 2014 as a solo artist, where he presented the song Yes We Can . Zia was elected straight to the final after winning the third semi-final. In the final he reached eighth place. In 2016 he took part in the Melodifestivalen again with the title Human . Again he was elected directly from the third semifinals to the final and reached second place there.
