Oskar Weiss (cartoonist)
Oskar Weiss (also known as Oski ; born January 24, 1944 in Chur ) is a Swiss draftsman , painter and cartoonist ; he describes himself as an inventor of pictures .
Life
From 1963 to 1968 Weiss trained as a graphic designer at the Zurich School of Applied Arts . Until 1978 he performed his own texts and music in small theaters with the Bernese Trouvères . He drew for Die Weltwoche , the Neue Zürcher Zeitung , the Nebelspalter and the Berner Zeitung . He created wall paintings , exhibited in various galleries and is the author of books for adults and children.

- Medal of Honor of the Civic Community of Bern , 2010.
