The house with the postal address Ossenreyerstraße 14 is a listed building on Ossenreyerstraße in Stralsund .

The core of the two-storey , three-axle , plastered gabled house dates from the 13th century; consisting of brick masonry basement of the house has been dated to the 1258th It is probably the oldest preserved secular stone building in the city of Stralsund.

The three-storey pillar gable received its curved outline and the blown top in the 18th century. The original, Gothic design with the ogival hatches and panels has been preserved. Traces of plastic decoration and original paint residues were discovered during a renovation between 1992 and 1993.

Two viewing windows in the facade show remains of the medieval structure. One of the viewing windows contains a sandstone slab made in 1608 , which originally came from the Kemladen .

Inside the house, the hall, which was typical of merchant houses at the time, the so-called hall houses , has largely been preserved.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 624.
