The Osservatorio Astronomico della Montagna Pistoiese is an observatory on the Pian dei Termini plateau northeast of San Marcello Pistoiese in the Italian region of Tuscany and is therefore also known as the Osservatorio di Pian dei Termini . It is run by the Gruppo Astrofili Montagna Pistoiese , an association of amateur astronomers . The geographical location is 10 ° 48 '15 "east longitude and 44 ° 03' 47" north latitude, 1000  m slm. The observatory is registered under the IAU code 104 .

It has two observation domes that are equipped with Newtonian telescopes with a diameter of 40 and 60 cm. Due to its location and the clear sky, it is often used by scientists from Tuscan universities.
