The East African Plantation Society Kilwa-Südland GmbH was a company whose purpose was the cultivation of sisal hemp , rubber and cotton in the Lindi district in German East Africa . It was founded in Berlin in 1908 with a share capital of 404,000 marks . The company was based in Berlin.

The company owned a sisalagave plantation with its own port facility on Lake Mkoes in the Lindi district, about 3250 hectares in size. The plantation had a waterworks and was connected to the network of the East African Railway Company via a field railway .
