history

A number of tombs from the early 19th century have been preserved at Hammer Ostenfriedhof, including the tombstone of the von Rademacher family († 1827/1828) and the tombstone of Major von Rabenau († 1832). The burial places of numerous Hammer honorary citizens should also be emphasized. An illustrated catalog provides information about the tombs in the Jewish section (see literature). In front of the main entrance on Ostenallee is the monument to the President of the Higher Regional Court, Adalbert Falk († 1900 in Hamm).
