Osvaldas Šarmavičius
Osvaldas Šarmavičius (born October 1, 1955 in Vidiškės , Rajongemeinde Ukmergė ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician and former mayor of the Rajongemeinde Šilalė .
Life
After completing school from 1962 to 1973 with a final Abitur and the music school in Ukmergė from 1965 to 1970, he completed his degree in technology from 1973 to 1978 at the Faculty of Light Industry in the Kauno politechnikos institutas in Kaunas . From 1977 to 1979 he worked as a foreman in the Jonava Furniture Combine , from 1987 to 1990 at Lietuvos komunistų partija in Šilalė . From 2000 to 2001 he was the mayor of the Šilalė Rajong Municipality.
From 1990 he was a member of the Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija and from 2001 the LSDP .
