Osvatnet is a mountain lake in the municipality of Stad in the Norwegian province of Vestland .
The lake is located at an altitude of 422 meters south above the Eidsfjord , southwest of Nordfjordeid . It extends in a west-east direction over about 400 meters with a width of up to about 140 meters. On its northwestern bank are the Ossætra mountain huts . The lake is fed by two brooks that flow into the lake from the east and west. The drainage takes place to the north over the Kvernhuselva in the Eidsfjord.
