Otar Cheidze
Otar Tschcheidze ( Georgian ოთარ ჩხეიძე ; born November 28, 1920 in Qelkzeuli , Gori district ; † 2007 ) was a Georgian writer.
Life
He was born into a family of teachers. In 1938 he began studying English language and literature at the Tbilisi State University . This was followed by a position at the Pedagogical Institute in Batumi and then for thirty years at the Pedagogical Institute in Gori . Finally, he gave literary lectures at Tbilisi State University.
