Othmar Tödling

Othmar Tödling (born October 15, 1921 in Floing ; † April 11, 2014 there ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. From 1956 to 1975 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

After finishing elementary and secondary school, Othmar Tödling attended an agricultural college and subsequently worked as a farmer. From June 1938 to February 1941 he was a member of the Hitler Youth and from October 1940, when he turned 18, Tödling was listed as a candidate for the NSDAP . The historian Michael Wladika concludes that Tödling is a member of the NSDAP. From 1958 he was managing director of Steirerobst Ges.mbH Gleisdorf . He was involved at the local political level as Mayor of Floing and was chairman of the Austrian Fruit Growing Association. He also worked as a regional chamber councilor for the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry Styria. Tödling represented the ÖVP from June 8, 1956 to November 4, 1975 as a member of the National Council.
