Tabaré Etcheverry

José Francisco Etcheverry Tort , better known as Tabaré Etcheverry , (born October 28, 1945 in Melo , † April 21, 1978 in Montevideo ) was a Uruguayan singer and composer .

His music can be classified in the area of ​​Uruguayan folklore . A street was named after him in the Uruguayan city of San José . An avenue also bears his name in his hometown of Melo.
