Otto Boros

Ottó Boros (born August 5, 1929 in Békéscsaba , † December 18, 1988 in Szolnok ) was a Hungarian water polo player .

Ottó Boros made 101 appearances for Hungary. He was Olympic champion with the Hungarian national water polo team in 1956 and 1964 and won bronze at the 1960 Games. In 1954, 1958 and 1962 Boros became European champions with the Hungarian team.

After the Hungarian uprising was bloodily suppressed in 1956 , Boros was one of the five players who returned to Hungary immediately after the 1956 Olympic Games.
