Otto A. Strecker (born November 19, 1963 in Bonn ) is a German management consultant, economist and publicist.

Life

After training as a banker and studying economics, Strecker initially worked as a research assistant and during this time received his doctorate with Otto Steiger with a dissertation in the field of international monetary theory . From 1993 he worked as a strategy consultant at the marketing consultancy Gruber, Titze & Partner and at Gemini-Consulting / CapGemini . He then headed the strategy department of a media group from 1996 and founded the specialist magazine Management Consultants in 1997, the first German-language monthly magazine for business consultants . Since 2000, Strecker has been a managing partner of the AFC Consulting Group in Bonn, a consulting company in the agricultural and food industry.

Since 2007 he has been a lecturer in agricultural economics at the agricultural faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 2019 he was appointed honorary professor there.
