Otto Entrup

Otto Entrup (born July 20, 1930 in Hüsten ; † June 28, 2012 in Meschede ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ). From 1969 to 1974 he was district administrator of the Meschede district and from 1972 to 1976 a member of the German Bundestag .

Life and work

Entrup was born the son of a lawyer. After graduating from high school in 1951 at the Benedictine high school in Meschede, he began studying law at the universities in Cologne and Münster , which he completed in 1955 with the first state examination. After completing his legal preparatory service and passing the second state examination, he was admitted to the bar in May 1960 and then joined his father's office; in 1969 he was appointed notary .

Political party

Entrup joined the CDU in 1959 and was chairman of the CDU district association in Meschede from 1968 to 1975.

MP

Entrup was a member of the city council of Meschede from 1965 to 1969 and from 1969 a member of the Meschede district council. In the 1972 Bundestag election , he entered the German Bundestag via the CDU's state list , to which he was a member until 1976. He represented the Olpe - Meschede constituency in parliament and was a member of the Interior Committee .

Public offices

Entrup was district administrator of the Meschede district from 1969 until the district was dissolved in 1974. From 1975 to 1979 he was deputy district administrator in the Hochsauerland district .
