Otto Giese
Otto Giese (born December 3, 1855 in Rostock , † December 30, 1904 in Altona ) was a German politician and lawyer .
Life
Otto Giese was born in 1855 as the son of the lawyer and later First Mayor of Rostock, Wilhelm Giese and his wife Franziska, geb. Close Giese studied law at the University of Rostock after Michaelis had passed the Abitur in 1875 at the large city school Rostock . He worked as a lawyer in Rostock. From 1891 to 1904 Giese succeeded Franz Adickes as Lord Mayor of Altona . During the same period he was sitting in the Prussian mansion .
His older brother was Adolf Giese (1852–1923), also a lawyer and senior church council president in Schwerin.
