Otto Heinrich Arnold
Otto Heinrich Arnold (born April 23, 1910 in Heidelberg ; † April 10, 2000 ) was a German physician.
Career
Arnold was the son of the judge Edgar Arnold and his wife Marianne, geb. Knorr. Richard Siebeck, sponsored by Richard Siebeck , joined the NSDAP in 1930 and was a member of the SS from 1933 to 1939.
He was chief physician, later director of the medical clinic of the Essen municipal hospitals . He promoted the establishment of the center by setting up specialized departments, which in 1963 led to the hospital becoming the University Clinic Essen .
After founding the Ruhr University Bochum , he was professor of medicine. The focus of his work was cycle research.
