Otto Liese (born April 13, 1866 in Haverland ; † March 19, 1931 there ) was a German politician (DDP).

Live and act

Otto Liese was born the son of a self-employed farmer. After attending elementary school in Abbendorf ( Westprignitz district ) from 1872 to 1875, he was taught at the agricultural school in Dahme in the Mark in the Jüterbog-Luckenwalde district . He then earned his living as a self-employed farmer.

Liese was a co-founder of the German Farmers' Union and a member of the Brandenburg Chamber of Agriculture. He was also a member of the district council of Westprignitz.

After the First World War , Liese joined the German Democratic Party (DDP). For this he was a member of the Prussian Constitutional Assembly from 1920 to 1921 . In the Reichstag election of June 1920 , he was elected to the first Reichstag of the Weimar Republic , to which he belonged for almost four years until the Reichstag election of May 1924.
