Beatrice Müller (born November 22, 1960 ) is a Swiss journalist , presenter , communication trainer and non-fiction author . She became known as the presenter and editor of the main edition of the Tagesschau on SRF 1 .

Life

After training in journalism , Beatrice Müller started at Radio Zürisee in 1984 and wrote for various magazines until 1986. From 1986 to 1994 she worked for Radio DRS 1 , including four years for the regional journal Zurich / Schaffhausen . In 1994 she worked for the Swiss Observer's advisory program . From 1995 to 1996 she was employed by Swiss Radio DRS for the program Echo der Zeit . In 1996 she moved to the Tagesschau editorial team of Swiss television , and from 1997 she was the Tagesschau presenter and editor . At the end of July 2013, she left the company Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen and set up an agency for media training and performance skills . In 2015 her book Gut roaring, lion! Appear, convince - assert yourself.

Beatrice Müller is married to Heiner Hug , the former Tagesschau editorial manager and founder of the Internet portal Journal21 .
