Otto Ottsen

Otto Ottsen (* 1869 ; † 1954 ) was a teacher at the seminar in Moers . He has written and written books on (regional) historical and geographical topics.

Since the 1920s Ottsen has published on the history of the Lower Rhine and the Lower Rhine cities of Orsoy and Moers. In 1950 he published "The History of the City of Moers" in three volumes, which is based on his earlier publications and is his most extensive work. Even today it is a standard reference in the history of Moers.
