Otto Sebastian Weick called

Otto Sebastian Weickgenannt (* February 14, 1870 in Mingolsheim (district of Bad Schönborn ), Baden-Württemberg ; † May 8, 1956 there ) was a drill of the sulfur spring, founder of the Mingolsheim sulfur bath and mill owner.

Life

In 1905 Otto Sebastian Weickgenannt drilled a sulfur spring in the garden of the 20 room family villa in Mingolsheim. In this he founded the Mingolsheim sulfur bath together with his son Franz Weickgenannt and his nephew Richard Weickgenannt . In 1922 he sold the Schwefelbad Mingolsheim GmbH to the Caritas Association Ludwigshafen. He owed him the purchase price until his death and beyond. Under the bishop of Speyer and later Cardinal Joseph Wendel , the family was paid part of the interest owed in 1946. In 1971 Franz Weickgenannt documented in his chronicle which u. a. in the publication "Bad Schönborn History" was quoted, the course and transferred the responsibility for the return of the sulfur bath to the family Weick called his descendants.
