Otto Winzen

Otto Winzen (born September 27, 1951 in Wiesbaden ) is a German writer.

Life

Otto Winzen grew up in Wiesbaden. From 1974 to 1979 he studied German language and literature and politics at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and graduated with a higher education degree. From 1978 to 1986 he lived as an author in Cologne , from 1986 to 1991 in Frankfurt am Main , from 1991 to 1994 in Madrid and since 1994 again in Frankfurt am Main. Since 1980 he has published prose , poetry and essays . The focus of his literary work are novels and short stories . He also writes poetry and lyrics for the stage. He has been a member of the Association of German Writers since 1980 .
