Otto von Steinfurt

Otto von Steinfurt (* in the 13th century; † before 1284 ) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Otto von Steinfurt was the son of nobleman Ludolf von Steinfurt and his wife Elisabeth von Bentheim, daughter of Count Balduin von Bentheim and his wife Jutta von Rietberg . His brothers Ludolf and Balduin are mentioned in a document together with him in June 1270. In 1277 Otto was canon of Münster and on February 11, 1279 commissioned by the cathedral chapter . The sources do not provide any information about his further life.
