Otyrar-TV ( Russian Отырар -TV) is a television station in Kazakhstan with headquarters in Shymkent . Otyrar-TV is a regional television broadcaster that broadcasts in the city of Shymkent as well as in the Turkistan region and reaches almost 1.5 million viewers. The program is in Kazakh and Russian .
It started broadcasting in 1992, initially under the name Kanal 5. Two years later the name was changed to Caravan before it was changed again in 1997. Since then it has been broadcasting 24 hours a day under the name Otyrar-TV.
In the program are TV shows , movies and news formats aired.
