history

The original crew consisted of Bobby Williamson ( keyboard ), Rusty Cooley (guitar), Darren Davis (drums) and Brent Marches (bass). They originally wanted to make pure instrumental music, but after a short time they decided to include singer Kelly Carpenter in the band.

Outworld worked on two bonus tracks for Rusty cooley's solo album, which was released in January 2003. They signed a contract with the Danish record label Intromental Records in mid-2003 . Later that year, bassist Brent Marches was replaced by Shawn Kascak and drummer Darren Davis was replaced by Matt Mckenna. Kelly Carpenter decided to join the Danish metal band Beyond Twilight in late 2004 , but stayed with Outworld with Carlos Zema until autumn 2006.

In December 2004 Outworld signed a contract with Replica Records . On November 13, 2006, their first album Outworld was released.

In August 2007, Outworld won the Famecast Fenom Contest in the Metal category after being ranked 1st in all 6 rounds.

On March 12, 2008, the band announced that founding members Bobby Williamson and singer Carlos Zema were leaving the band. They are looking for a new singer and a second guitarist (instead of the keyboardist) to get a heavier sound for the new album.

On March 24, 2009, Rusty Cooley announced that he had broken up Outworld and started a new project with the current line-up.
