The Oval Lake ( English for oval lake ) is a lake on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located 1.3 km northeast of Club Lake on the Breidnes Peninsula in the Vestfold Mountains area .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it descriptively for its shape in 1973.
