geography
Ovalau is located in the east next to Ovaka , the center of the Motu administrative district and west of Mo'unu (Mounu). In the vicinity are the islets Muʻomuʻa (Muʻomuʻa), as well as Totokamaka and Totokafonua . The islets of Langakali and ʻEuakafa in the east belong to the same reef crown . climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Vavaʻu group, Ovalau is occasionally hit by cyclones .
