Oxo 86 is a German ska-punk band.
history
The band was founded in 1995 in Bernau near Berlin , Brandenburg . The music is mostly kept in the cheerful Ska Punk style and is complemented with a trumpet. The texts describe skinhead life and, in addition to many drinking and party topics, also deal with serious things, such as National Socialism or genetic engineering in food.
In 2013, an offshoot of the band, the so-called Drinking and Singing Community (TSG for short), was created. This is considered a semi-acoustic project that deals with being a football fan.
The band had various record deals with the labels Sunny Bastards , Nix-Gut Records and PukeMusic .
