Páll Jóhann Pálsson

Páll Jóhann Pálsson (born November 25, 1957 in Keflavík ) is an Icelandic politician ( Progress Party ).

Páll Jóhann worked as a machinist , captain and boatswain , since 2003 as a captain and shipowner . Since 2010 he has been a member of the city government of Grindavík .

Since the Icelandic parliamentary election on April 27, 2013 , Páll Jóhann was a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the southern constituency . As of 2015, he was a member of the parliamentary committee for the budget (since 2015) and the committee for commercial affairs (since 2013) and was a member of the Icelandic delegation in the West Nordic Council . From 2013 to 2015 he was a member of the Committee on Welfare, and in 2013 also the Committee on Economic Affairs and Trade.

Páll Jóhann Pálsson had announced that he would not run for the general election in Iceland in 2016 . He was last on the Progress Party's list for the Southern constituency.
