Klein Witzeetze formerly also Witzeetze im Drawehn (slav. Vysec = Aushau, excerpt) is a district of the municipality of coastal in the joint municipality of Lüchow (Wendland) in the Lower Saxony district of Lüchow-Dannenberg . The place is 12 km northwest of Lüchow on the district road from Sallahn to Breselenz in the Niederen Geest on the western edge of the Jeetzel lowlands .
history
In 1450 the place was first mentioned as a joke network. The fully formed round was rebuilt in a stretched shape after a fire in 1832. There are individual resettlements outside the Rundling. The community was merged with Sallahn in 1929. As part of the municipal reform in 1972, this municipality became part of the municipality of coastal. In Klein Witzeetze and the surrounding villages there was a row school according to the Dannenberg school regulations of 1687 , which later got a building in the village. The school was taught until 1972. Klein Witzeetze belongs to the Krummasel parish .
