Pål Johannessen (born July 19, 1960 in Norway ) is a Norwegian actor .

Life

Johannessen made his film debut in 1966 as a child in the Norwegian racism drama The African ( Afrikaneren ) in the role of Lillebror (little brother). Pål Johannessen was best known for his appearances as Basse in the Norwegian remakes of the Olsen Gang films, the originally Danish Olsen Gang . The role names for Kjell's sons, "Basse" and "Birger", were only finally determined after the second film by the Norwegian Olsen Gang. Analogous to the Danish pedant Børge in the Danish Olsen Gang films, "Basse" is also the son of Kjell (Kjeld) and Valborg (Yvonne) , who remains an indispensable helper of the Olsen Gang with his shrewdness and quick perception. He played this role in the first seven Norwegian remakes, as a child or adolescent actor and in the last film Olsenbandens siste stikk (1999) in this series as an adult. In 1992 he was also in the Norwegian comedy Ute av drift! works as a production assistant.
