successes

Pāvels Seničevs took part in two Olympic Games : in 1964 he finished second in Tokyo with 194 points and thus received the silver medal. With 194 points he was tied with Bill Morris and Galliano Rossini , but prevailed in the jump-off against his two competitors after he was the only one to hit all 25 goals. At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City , there was another jump-off for the silver medal when Seničevs scored 196 points as did Thomas Garrigus and Kurt Czekalla . While Garrigus and Czekalle hit all 25 goals in the first round of the jump-off, Seničevs was eliminated with 22 hits, finishing fourth. Seničevs won bronze four times at world championships : in 1966 he took third place in both individual and team competitions, as well as with the team in Bologna in 1967 and in Suhl in 1986 .
