PAS 1032

The PAS 1032 of DIN identifies and describes processes of planning , development, implementation and evaluation of educational processes and educational opportunities, specifically to e-learning are aligned. It also contains test criteria for evaluating the quality of e-learning products.

PAS 1032 is divided into two parts: a reference model for describing processes and a reference model for e-learning products.

The reference model for process description is further subdivided into a process model with the categories of requirements identification , framework conditions, conception, production , introduction, implementation and evaluation, as well as a description model for the more detailed specification of these processes.

The sub-processes mentioned do not specify a sequence, but are nevertheless strongly based on the product life cycle of software.

The elements identifier , (process) category, process, description, relationship, sub-process and aspect , goal , methods, results , actor , evaluation and criteria , as well as references are used for more detailed specification .

With the reference model for process description, consisting of a process and description model, technical, organizational and didactic aspects of e-learning can be documented and used for quality testing. In addition to this, ISO 9000 can be used as a general management model and the criteria of ISO 9241 for software products.
