The Junge Linke.PDS (formerly PDS-Jugend) was a socialist youth association of the Linkspartei.PDS .

In 1992 the PDS-Jugend Sachsen was founded for the first time as a loose network of various youth structures of the PDS. The umbrella organization included the Saxon regional associations of the Young Comrades Working Group and of ['solid] - the socialist youth .

On April 17th, 2004 the PDS-Jugend Berlin-Brandenburg was founded as a split of the state associations Berlin and Brandenburg from ['solid] - the socialist youth. In the two federal states, the youth association saw itself primarily as an internal youth structure and a pool for young reform leftists. In contrast to ['solid], the condition for membership was expressly the fundamental identification with the goals and the program of the PDS.

As part of the merger process between Linkspartei.PDS and WASG , both youth associations renamed themselves Junge Linke.PDS in autumn 2005. Organizationally, however, both remained independent of each other. For example, the Junge Linke.PDS Sachsen caused incomprehension among many party members with an anti-patriotism campaign called No to Germany Hype during the 2006 World Cup in Germany .

There were also individual local groups in North Rhine-Westphalia and Saxony-Anhalt , which also bore the name Junge Linke.PDS.

On May 20, 2007, the Junge Linke.PDS merged with ['solid] and other youth structures in the joint youth association Linksjugend [' solid] .
