PSK125
PSK125 ( Phase Shift Keying , 125 Baud ) is a data transmission protocol for radio links.
The protocol is mainly used in amateur radio . Compared to the PSK31 operating mode , it has four times the baud rate , but also requires four times the bandwidth. Like PSK31, PSK125 can be operated either as binary phase shift keying ( BPSK ) with two or as quadrature phase shift keying ( QPSK ) with four phase positions , which doubles the channel capacity if the signal-to-noise ratio is sufficient .
With QPSK, the sideband must match at the transmitter and receiver, with BPSK not.
