Paa Kwesi Nduom (born February 15, 1953 in Elmina , Ghana ) is a leading politician in Ghana. In the government of President John Agyekum Kufuor he was Minister of State in Charge of Public Sector Reform from 2005 to July 31, 2007 . In the first term of office, Nduom was already Minister for Energy. In the 2008 presidential election in Ghana , he ran for the Convention People's Party with little success .

Nduom was born in Elmina, in the central region of Ghana. He attended St. Augustine's Secondary School in Cape Coast . Due to a scholarship, he was able to study at the University of Wisconsin in the USA and graduated there in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in economics.

Also from the University of Wisconsin, he received his Masters in Management and his PhD (Service Delivery Systems, Ph.D.) in 1982.

Nduom worked with North Western Mutul Life Insurance Company, (an insurance company) from 1975 to 1978 and with Blue Cross Shield in Wisconsin from 1978 to 1979. Between 1979 and 1981, Nduom worked in the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District as a budget and management analyst.

Nduom is a partner at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in the USA.

He holds the post of Minister of State for Public Sector Reform.
