The Paal Harbor is a bay on the east coast of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located 800 m south of Borge Bay .
The name of the bay can be found on maps that were made during the survey work carried out between 1912 and 1913 by the Norwegian whaling captain Petter Sørlle . It is named after the Norwegian whaler Paal , who operated at the same time in the waters around the southern Orkney Islands.
