Chengtian Temple Pagoda

The pagoda of the Chengtian Temple ( Chinese  承天寺 塔 , Pinyin Chéngtiān sì t Ch , English Chengtian Temple Pagoda ) in the Xingqing district of Yinchuan in the Ningxia Autonomous Region of the Hui, People's Republic of China , is a Xi-Xia style ( Tangut ) Brick pagoda from 1820 of the Qing Dynasty . Originally built in 1050 , it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1738 . It is octagonal, has eleven floors and is 64.5 meters high. It is the oldest brick pagoda in the region.

The Chengtian Temple Pagoda has been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-807) since 2006 .
