The Palacio de los Ríos y Salcedo is a palace in Soria , the capital of the province of Soria in the autonomous region of Castile and León , which was built in the 16th century. The palace in Plaza de San Clemente is a protected architectural monument ( Bien de Interés Cultural ).

History and description

The palace was built for the Ríos y Salcedo family at the beginning of the 16th century. The Renaissance building has a portal to the Plaza de San Clemente with Plateresque decoration, which extends over two floors. A corner window to the right is decorated in the same way.

Todays use

The Archivo Histórico Provincial de Soria (Historical Archives of the Province of Soria) has been located in the palace since 1992 .
