The Palais Wenkheim is a city palace in the 2nd Viennese district Leopoldstadt . It is located at Praterstrasse 23 and is a listed building.

history

The house was built in 1835 by Karl Ehmann for Countess Nora Wenkheim. In 1989/90 the roof was extended and the courtyard roofed over. The Webster University Vienna has been located there since autumn 2014 .

architecture

The facade is classicistic with a strongly protruding central risalit structured and gabled by pilasters . The entrance is arched.
