Palazzo Longo

Palazzo Longo is a palace in Venice in the Veneto region of Italy . It is located in the Cannaregio sestiere with a view of the Rio della Misericordia on the Fondamenta della Misericordia , next to the Ca 'Caotorta and opposite the former Convento dei Servi .

The palace is in the Gothic style and shows works from the 15th century. The upper floor of the three-story building shows a triple window with a stone balcony in front, flanked by four single windows.

Some details of the facade are similar to those of other Venetian palaces, e.g. B. the Palazzo Caotorta Angaran .

history

Nicolò Longo had this palace built. When the Longo family died out in 1700, it fell to the Lippomano family and then to the Vendramin family .

In 2007 the Palazzo Longo was rebuilt for the current owners.
