Palazzo Memmo Martinengo Mandelli is a palace in Venice in the Veneto region of Italy . It is located in the Cannaregio sestiere overlooking the Grand Canal between the Palazzo Gritti Dandolo and the Church of San Marcuola .
history
The palace was built in the 18th century and remodeled in the 19th century. There lived Andrea Memmo , who was elected in 1775 to the procurator, but above all, for his friendship with Giacomo Casanova is known. Today it houses departments of the tax office: The Ufficio Distretturale delle Imposte dirette (District Office for Direct Taxes), the Direzione Regionale delle Entrate (Regional Directorate for Income) and the Corte dei Conti (Court of Auditors).

On the facade, the most important openings (larger windows or gates) are offset to the left in each of the three floors. The individual floors are divided by frames and bands in Istrian limestone that connect the windows, window sills and architraves. The ground floor is provided with boss work . The palace also extends in depth and has a central courtyard and garden.
