Palazzo Marcello ai Tolentini , also simply Palazzo Marcello , is a palace in Venice in the Italian region of Veneto . It is located in the Santa Croce sestiere opposite the Ponte di Santa Croce at the confluence of the Rio di Malcanton .
history
The Palazzo Marcello was built in the 15th century and remained one of the residential buildings of the Venetian patrician family Marcello .
Today the building is in good condition and houses a hotel.

The palace is characterized by its long facade in the Gothic style . A large five-fold window adorns the left part of the main floor; to the left of it is a single arched window , to the right of it four. On the mezzanine and on the second floor, the window layout corresponds to that of the main floor, whereby the windows are smaller and only four-fold windows are used instead of the five-fold window. The mezzanine and main floors are separated by a cornice .
