Paloxes

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Paloxes are containers built on the basis of transport pallets with solid side walls all around. The side walls can have openings (ventilation slots). In contrast to lattice boxes , the height of the side walls is not necessarily subject to standardization, and pallet boxes do not necessarily have to be stackable. They can be made of wood (with or without steel reinforcements ) or plastic . Similar to a lattice box, a wall can be folded down.

Paloxes are z. B. used for the transport or storage of fruit, vegetables, used batteries or similar cargo. Thanks to the dimensions of the lower part, which are identical to those of transport pallets, pallets can be lifted and transported with a floor conveyor (e.g. forklift ).

The designation "PALOXE" as a brand name was created by the Utz Group , a manufacturer of these containers.
