Davisson-Germer Prize

The Davisson Germer Prize in Atomic or Surface Physics is a prize awarded annually by the American Physical Society since 1965 for outstanding work in atomic and surface physics. It is named after Clinton Davisson and Lester Germer , the discoverers of electron diffraction. The award is endowed with $ 5,000 (2007).
